Statcom Systems can help you meet your obligation to prepare a Certificate of Maintenance which must be forwarded to the Commissioner of the Fire Service.
Amendments to the FRS Act and Building Act came into force on 23rd April 2008 which requires NEW Certificates of Classification to be immediately displayed conspicuously near the building’s main entrance. For buildings built between 1 July 97 & 22 April 08, the owner has until 23 April 09 to locate and display the older Certificates of Classification or risk a penalty of $12,375.
